Byron is a handsome, large, short-haired dog with a striking gray and white coat. He's an adult and a mixed breed, primarily a Hound with some Great Dane in his lineage. Byron is a friendly, affectionate, and playful companion who also enjoys being a couch potato and a snuggle bug. He's known for being loyal, happy, and curious, with a dignified and brave demeanor. Byron loves to give and receive kisses and can be quite funny, truly fitting in as part of the pack. He's also great with cats, other dogs, and children of all ages!
Ideal Home
Byron would thrive in a home that appreciates his affectionate and playful nature. He's already house and crate trained, which is a great start for any household.
Ongoing Health
Byron is up to date on all age-appropriate core vaccines, including lepto and corona, as well as his rabies vaccine. He has been dewormed, tested negative for parasites, and is microchipped with free lifetime registration. Byron is also spayed/neutered, tested negative for heartworm and lyme within the last six months, and is current on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention year-round.
Training & Support
Training is an ongoing journey, and Byron will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and daily interaction to help him succeed.

- Previous adopters may be exempt from the adoption fee, though a donation of their choice is welcomed.
Transportation
Byron is located in Huntington, IN. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense. We do not ship. A meet and greet is required before adoption, unless you are a previous adopter.
