Maverick

Maverick is a 10-week-old lab mix who loves to explore the outdoors! He's the outlier of his litter, being the only tan one among a group of black lab pups. You can tell he belongs with his siblings by the attempted black hairs on his back! This special guy loves to explore outside and play with his foster siblings. He is curious about his foster cat, often thinking it's another puppy ready for play. Maverick hasn't been fostered with children, but he would likely be just fine. His new family should be aware that puppies can sometimes be a little jumpy and mouthy as they are learning.

Ideal Home

Maverick would do well in a home that can provide him with plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration. As he is still learning, he will need someone around throughout the day to help him continue with his potty training success.

Training & Support

Maverick is working on his potty training and house manners and is doing well. He can sometimes be a little jumpy and mouthy, which is typical for puppies as they learn.

Maverick is currently being fostered in Holiday, Florida. He is available to those in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas, including Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas, and Hernando counties, as he is awaiting neuter.
