Cholula

Cholula is a precious female pup, born on January 14th, 2026. Her mom was rescued while pregnant and injured, and thankfully, Cholula and her siblings arrived safely into the world, surrounded by love in a foster home. Cholula is expected to be a medium-sized dog with the sweetest heart. She's gentle, observant, and incredibly intelligent. While she might be a little shy initially, her true personality blossoms once she feels safe and comfortable, revealing a loving, loyal, and affectionate companion. She adores following her people, relaxing nearby, playing with her siblings, and getting those wonderful belly rubs. Like any curious puppy, she's playful and still discovering the world. New experiences can make her a bit nervous, but with patience, love, and positive reinforcement, she quickly gains confidence and shows just how amazing she is.

Ideal Home

Cholula would thrive in a home with people who have dog experience. She'll need a space to explore and play, and a calm, peaceful environment. Friendly and respectful canine companions would be a great fit, but she's looking for a home without cats or young children. She is working on being potty trained with access to the yard.

Ongoing Health

Cholula has been vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed.

Training & Support

Leash training is in process. As with any puppy, patience, love, and positive reinforcement will help her gain confidence and navigate new situations.

Transportation

Cholula is currently located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada. We work with flight companions ("flight angels") flying from Puerto Vallarta to airports near you. During the summer months, it may be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so she might fly into the US and be met at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion isn't available.
