SKIP (Handsome, Sweet, Playful, Active, Loves Water--SEE NEW VIDEO)

Meet Skip! This handsome, sweet, and playful pup is ready to splash his way into your heart. He's a 4-month-old, 25-pound mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie, with a touch of mystery that might include Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees, judging by his longer legs and dew claws. Skip was found abandoned with his brothers but was rescued and is now eager to find his forever family. He absolutely loves water, happily snorkeling for leaves in his puppy pool and enjoying muddy puddles. He's also a quiet and calm rider in the car, making him the perfect travel companion. With his adorable one-ear-up, one-ear-down look, Skip is sure to bring smiles and laughter to your home. He enjoys chasing balls, wrestling with his brother, and is working on learning "sit." He's crate-trained and currently being house-trained, and with his adaptable nature, he would likely adjust well to living with a cat.

Ideal Home

Skip would thrive in an active home that enjoys outings and adventures. He'd love to be part of a family who will include him in their favorite activities.

Ongoing Health

Skip is microchipped and up-to-date on his shots. He will be adopted with a neuter contract, and the adopter will be responsible for the cost of neutering when he reaches the appropriate age as determined by a veterinarian. Proof of neutering will be required.

Training & Support

Skip is crate-trained and house-training is in progress. He's learning to walk nicely on a harness and is working on commands like "sit." He enjoys wrestling and would likely benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.
