Hi, I'm Chip! I'm about 4 months old and likely a mix of Pittie and Shepherd. I'm a super energetic pup, but the good news is that once my energy is spent, I can relax and chill out. I'm extremely smart and learn fast. I'm also highly food motivated, which makes training a blast! My foster family thinks I'm so talented that I even have the potential to be a great sport dog. I'm getting the hang of potty training and haven't had any accidents in my kennel. I'm still learning how to tell you when I need to go outside, but with consistent reminders, I'll get there! I sleep well in my crate at night, but I do get a little sad when I'm crated during the day. My foster humans are teaching me that my crate is a safe space, and with continued support, I'll become more confident when I'm on my own. I'm learning to walk nicely on a leash, and with guidance, I'll be a pro in no time! I'm learning how to play appropriately with the resident German Shepherd, and we're making good progress.

Ideal Home

I'd love an active family that enjoys teaching new tricks and helping me learn new skills. A family that can help me burn my energy both physically and mentally would be perfect! It would be great if my new home has a 6-foot fence, as I'm a bit of an escape artist and tend to jump over smaller gates, likely due to my dislike of being alone. This urge may lessen as I gain more confidence.
