Jessa (20250509-01)

Meet Jessa! This sweet, shy girl is about 2 years old and weighs around 40 lbs. Jessa arrived in Antigua as a puppy with her siblings and has been waiting patiently for her forever home. She's made incredible progress since coming to Canada, learning that the world isn't as scary as she once thought.

Ideal Home

Jessa would thrive in a quieter home that understands she needs time and patience to warm up. Slow movements, gentle introductions, and a calm, predictable environment will help her feel secure. She would do best in a home with a yard and would love to have another friendly, confident dog to show her the ropes and help her feel safe and comfortable. She is not ideal for apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Jessa has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jessa is house-trained and crate-trained. She is a bit of a flight risk due to nervousness but has been learning to walk on a leash, though she may need small breaks. She is not a barker or destructive.
