Journey

Journey is a handsome, three-and-a-half-year-old neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. Weighing in at 45-50 lbs, he was famously rescued during a hurricane in Houston, an event that even made the news! Despite his dramatic rescue, Journey has discovered the joys of a comfortable home life and is eager to find his forever family. He's a social butterfly, enjoying the company of most medium to large dogs, both male and female, though he has a particular dislike for red huskies.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life and adventures. He's not suited for apartment living and absolutely NEEDS A FENCED YARD to satisfy his love for running and playing. He also loves water and travels well in the car.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly preventative medications. He has also been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

He knows his basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash activities.
