Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is ready to find his forever snuggle buddy! This little guy, currently weighing 3 pounds, was found abandoned with his eight siblings in Houston and is now being lovingly fostered in Austin, Texas. Despite his small size, Sebastian has a big heart and a gentle spirit. He’s a quiet soul who prefers cozy cuddles to roughhousing and has already earned the title of the resident snuggler. Sebastian is a brave and social pup, and we believe he'll do wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, provided introductions are gentle and supervised. Due to his delicate size, any resident pets should be experienced with very small dogs. We don't know Sebastian's parentage, so his future size and breed mix are a delightful mystery!
Ideal Home
Sebastian needs a home where he can grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. He requires a family committed to consistent training and patience. Because he's so young, he cannot be left alone for long periods. We're looking for a home where someone is present most of the day to help with his socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult in the household must be available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Sebastian is a healthy young puppy. As with all puppies, potential adopters should be prepared for standard puppy care and veterinary visits.
Training & Support
Sebastian is still mastering potty and crate training, which will require consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience from his new family. He thrives with structure, routine, and supervision.
