Sweet Pea seems to have skipped the awkward "new kid" phase entirely. While some puppies need time to settle in, figure out the routine, and make friends, Sweet Pea arrived in her foster home, took one look at the new people and six resident dogs, and essentially said, "Perfect, I live here now." Since then, she's been proving just how easy it is to live with and love her. Estimated to be around 9 months old and looking very much like a Texas Special (aka blend of rescue breed cuteness), she weighs 27 adorable pounds currently. We may not be able to tell you what her breed is for certain, but we do know that she is a wonderfully social, affectionate, easygoing young dog with a gentle nature and a talent for fitting seamlessly into family life. Ideal Home
Sweet Pea would do best in a home with a dog-savvy cat and ideally another confident dog who can help model appropriate behavior.

Training & Support
Sweet Pea is already off to a great start on leash. She walks nicely, responds well to guidance, and rides through new environments with confidence. When it comes to cats, she showed a playful curiosity but also cautious respectfulness. Like many young puppies, she may occasionally get excited and forget where all four feet belong, but her overall demeanor is gentle and friendly.
