Are you ready to SPICE UP YOUR LIFE?! Then I'm your girl! My name is Ginger and it is fitting in many ways. I have beautiful, soft, gingery fur, and I'm a little ginger spicy! I'm an active puppy still learning my manners and always testing the bounds of right vs wrong. My favorite pastimes are playing fetch, wrestling with my Dachshund friend, and trying to catch that pesky water hose stream. I love to play with other dogs and would fare best with ones tolerant and accepting of my energy. I'm a super snuggler in between zoom sessions, so kids would be fine too. I even grew up around cats and chickens, but I like to bark and pounce at them to play, play, play! Continued positive reinforcement and redirection should keep my "Shep-HERD-ing" at bay with the small animals. I am a very smart girl and highly food motivated, so I learn quickly. My foster mom is working on some tricks for fun, but I have mastered crate training and am also doing well with house training. I usually only have accidents overnight, being a small puppy with a small bladder and all. I am so ready for my fur-ever home and a family to spice things up with!
Ideal Home
Ginger would do best with a family who can provide consistent positive reinforcement and redirection, especially around smaller animals like cats and chickens. She loves to play and would benefit from a home with tolerant and energetic canine companions.
