King

Meet King! King is a handsome 65-pound Staffy mix who was unfortunately surrendered with his housemate. While his friend quickly found a loving home, King was left waiting. Now, he's ready to find his forever family who can offer him the structure and training he deserves to become the best boy ever!

King is a treat-motivated fellow who loves to show off his obedience skills. He enjoys car rides (especially from the front seat!), exploring new hiking trails, and has a unique passion for chasing water from a hose – it might just be his favorite thing!

Ideal Home

King would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks or hikes. He'd do best in a household with children over 12, as he can get a little boisterous when excited and doesn't want to accidentally knock anyone over. He needs a home WITHOUT large male dogs, though he gets along wonderfully with female dogs of all sizes and smaller male dogs. King also needs a family willing to provide him with plenty of toys to keep him entertained and a safe haven for snuggles during thunderstorms, which he finds a bit scary. He's not looking for a home that frequents dog parks or dog bars.

Ongoing Health

King is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. He has also been neutered. All medical expenses incurred while in our care have been covered.

Training & Support

King is house-trained and crate-trained. His treat motivation makes him a great candidate for further training and obedience work.
