Winona

This silly cutie girl is an absolute delight, and a perfect armful of love! Winona is a Boxer and Beagle mix, best guess. She has the finest traits of both breeds and is pretty quiet with no beagle "howl." She's just 20# at 9 mos. old, a perfect size and should weigh 25-30# as an adult. She loves all humans, big and small, but may knock a smaller child down accidentally with her joyful play style, so respectful kids 8+ only. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but people are her favorite thing! Winona loves to put her paws on your legs and give gentle kisses, and she's very happy to sit calmly by you on the couch for a movie! She's doing well on leash walks with a harness and loves romping and playing fetch in the fenced yard. Adorable Winona charms everyone she meets! She's whip-smart; a sweet pup who had a rough start and needs love, consistency and patience to help her keep learning all the "good puppy manners" things. This irresistible little girl makes it easy to fall in love with her! Winona would love to be your new bestie, snuggle buddy, exercise and adventure companion and snack partner. Ideal Home

Winona's ideal family will be an adult family, or one with respectful kids 8+ up. She requires a physical fenced yard with a 6' fence.

Ongoing Health

Winona is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed.

Training & Support

Winona is learning about house training and making good progress, and doing great with crate training. Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend positive reinforcement manners classes with their new pup!
