Meet Merlin! He's an 8-month-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix who is currently weighing in at a healthy 34lbs and still gaining. This handsome dude is as friendly and social as they come, and he's eager to find his forever family! Merlin is a smart boy who is receptive to training, especially since he's highly motivated by both food and toys. He has lots of energy, so he's looking for a home that understands the needs of an adolescent, high-drive sporting or working breed. He enjoys being active and spending time with his people. Merlin shows appropriate interest in other dogs and could potentially share his home with a canine companion of similar or larger size.

Ideal Home

Merlin would thrive in a home that can keep up with his energetic spirit and provide consistent training. An adult-only home is preferred, but he could also do well in a home with older, dog-savvy teenagers.

Merlin is neutered and vaccinated.
