Winnie

Winnie is a delightful 4-year-old, 25-pound Frenchie with a heart of gold and a unique story. She recently underwent surgery on her ears due to severe neglect, which means she cannot hear spoken words. While she may not respond to verbal commands, a clap can sometimes catch her attention, and she is incredibly attuned to her surroundings and people. She absolutely adores human interaction and has a history of being around children.

Ideal Home

Winnie would thrive in a home without other female dogs, as she has shown aggression towards them. She is currently being tested with male dogs and seems to be doing well. Understanding her past and her needs will be key to her happiness.

Ongoing Health

Winnie has undergone surgery on her ears. Aside from this, she is a healthy and happy girl.

Training & Support

Winnie may have a tendency to assert dominance, potentially due to feeling vulnerable from her past experiences. It's important for her new family to understand this and provide a stable, loving environment where she can feel secure. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will go a long way in helping her adjust.
