Stallone is a handsome 2-year-old Husky/Heeler mix who has already overcome so much. Found as a stray, he was rescued from a shelter just in time and has been patiently waiting for his forever home ever since. He's healthy, active, and incredibly intelligent, forming deep bonds with those he trusts. Stallone loves long walks, brushing sessions, belly rubs, and relaxing with his favorite people. Once he trusts you, he's affectionate, loyal, and happiest just being close. He has made remarkable progress in understanding the need for slow, thoughtful introductions and continues to show how much he has grown.

Stallone is looking for an experienced home that understands the importance of routine, leadership, and allowing dogs the time they need to decompress and build trust. He would do best in a home without young children and with a quieter lifestyle where he can continue to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Stallone is neutered, fully vetted, and has completed heartworm treatment. He is currently healthy.

Training & Support

Stallone has struggled with resource guarding and protectiveness in the past. With time, structure, and guidance, he has made remarkable progress. He continues to show his growth through successful introductions to new people. An experienced home that can provide consistent routine and leadership will help him continue to succeed.
