Cowboy

Cowboy is a brave 2-year-old survivor who has been through more than any dog should have to endure. He was found abandoned and severely injured, having been used as a bait dog. Despite his traumatic past, Cowboy is now safe and receiving the medical care he needs. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has begun treatment for heartworm. Cowboy is cautious with other dogs and may do best as the only pet in the home, where he can feel secure. He can be a little slow to warm up to men, but with patience and understanding, he will surely blossom. Cowboy is looking for a loving and stable home where he can finally experience the safety and peace he so deserves.
