Kaspian, the Sweet Little Survivor

Kaspian is a 1-year-old, 16-pound short-haired Chihuahua with a resilient spirit and a heart full of joy. He was found injured and, after a period of strict crate rest and medication for a pelvic fracture, has made a full recovery. Now, Kaspian is a happy, playful, and incredibly entertaining companion who loves to play fetch and invent games. His affectionate nature and zest for life make every day brighter, and he's always eager to share a happy moment, especially over a tasty snack like apples or bananas! He's great with dogs and cats of all sizes and greets every human with enthusiasm. Kaspian is ready for a forever family that will cherish him and give him the love he deserves after his challenging start.

Ideal Home

A home with an adequately and fully fenced yard is a must. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Kaspian is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

No specific training needs are mentioned, but his playful and affectionate nature suggests he will thrive with positive reinforcement and continued socialization.

• Kaspian's adoption fee is $500, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, and a fitting harness.
• A portion of the adoption fee helps support other animals in our care.

Transporation

Kaspian is currently being fostered in Texas. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters to anywhere in the United States and Canada. Transport fees can range between $200 - $300 for the East Coast and $250 - $350 for the West Coast.
