Kim is a sweet, loving, and joyful 1-year-old male Border Collie/Labrador mix who weighs approximately 32 lbs. He's a smart boy, always happy and ready for adventures, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Kim can be a little timid and needs some time to decompress and trust new people, but with patience and understanding, he'll blossom into your loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Kim would thrive in an active home with families who enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. He needs a home with owners who have a real intention to rescue a dog and understand the unique needs of street animals. Experience with dog behavior and training, as well as high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, are essential.
Ongoing Health
Kim was hospitalized for parvo treatment and has since made a full recovery. His health protocol includes a Spay/Neuter Certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX Test and Certificate, a negative Heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, and heartworm) preventive. He will also receive a health certificate and a vaccine booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may not be house-trained.
Training & Support
Kim is leash and crate trained and enjoys car rides. While he is not yet house-trained, he is very smart and perfect for training. Owners should be prepared for an adjustment period, as rescued dogs may have past traumas. Patience, understanding, and consistent communication with the rescue team are a must.

Transportation
Kim is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to the adopter's home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee.
