Journey

Journey is a three and a half year old, neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. He currently weighs between 45-50lbs and was born on August 17, 2022. Journey's story is one of resilience; he was famously rescued during a hurricane in Houston, where he swam to shore before being safely caught. That was a year and a half ago, and since then, he's discovered the joys of a loving home and daily care. He's a smart, handsome, and sweet boy who is ready for his forever adventure.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life and adventures. He would not do well in an apartment setting. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to run and play. He is not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up to date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly preventative medications. He has also been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Journey knows his basic commands but is not trained for off-leash activities. He loves to play and enjoys car rides.
