Meet Amy! Amy is a beautiful Boxer/Lab mix with a heart of gold and eyes that will melt yours. She is the definition of a sensitive soul, happiest right by your side, quietly keeping you company or soaking up cuddles. Her favorite comfort is her blankie, under which she loves to burrow, just poking her nose out to check in on you – it's as adorable as it sounds! Amy is the perfect travel buddy, always ready to hop in for your next adventure, and she's an A+ student who is fully potty trained and knows her "sit" and "stay." She is eager to please and a wonderful listener. Amy forms deep, meaningful bonds with her people and thrives on love and connection. She also enjoys her daily walks and does well on a leash. Amy has met a cat and politely chose to ignore it – what a lady!
Ideal Home
Amy needs a calm, patient home that will help her continue building confidence. She would do best in a single-family house where there are fewer unexpected noises, and a home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved at her own pace. Amy can be a bit of a wallflower at first and is sensitive to loud or sudden noises.
Ongoing Health
Amy is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. She has also been dewormed and received flea/tick and heartworm preventative. She is microchipped and altered.
Training & Support
Amy is already making great progress with guidance from trainers regarding her sensitivity to other dogs. She does well when given space and is learning every day!
