Meet Red, a charming 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50 pounds. Red's world changed when his beloved owner passed away, but he found himself in the loving care of a neighbor who rescues animals, and he's been thriving ever since. Red is a bundle of joy, always ready for fun! He enjoys play sessions with other dogs, romping in the yard, and exploring new surroundings with enthusiasm and curiosity. He's also a total lovebug, happy to cuddle up next to you and soak in all the affection.

Training & Support

Red is crate and potty trained and will let you know with a little whine when he needs to go out. He loves to greet people by standing up and leaning in close for love – it's his signature move! He knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down." While he's still working on leash training (he didn't have much before coming into foster care), he's eager to learn and please. Red has never lived with children but has always been friendly to neighbor kids when they played in the street or his yard. Before his foster home, Red lived outdoors and was not reactive to passersby; he has a calm nature in that way.
