Benji

Benji is a happy-go-lucky, playful, 9-year-old neutered male who has been leading an active life. He loves people and other dogs. Benji knows his basic commands and is both house and crate trained. He would love to have a secure yard in which to roam. He needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. Benji has been living in a rural area but would be fine in other settings, as long as there are no neighborhood chickens. They are too much of a temptation for this boy. Likewise, he will do best in a household with no small animals or birds. He has not been tested with cats.

Benji passed his last health check with flying colors and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Benji knows his basic commands and is house and crate trained. Additional training would be beneficial. Remember that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust, and are not perfect, they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance. Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
