Bea

Bea is a loving, playful, and affectionate 2 1/2-year-old female Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, weighing around 40-45 lbs. She was rescued from a shelter when her foster situation fell through at the last minute, but thankfully, a wonderful foster mom stepped in to give her a second chance! Bea has been doing wonderfully with her foster mom's grandchildren, ages 3 and 7, and is absolutely adoring of kids. As a herding breed, she may have a tendency to nip at heels, so gradual introductions are recommended until she adjusts.

Ideal Home

Bea gets along well with other pups, especially smaller dogs. She can be a little nervous around dogs her size or larger, so slow and positive introductions are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Bea is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bea is housebroken and crate trained. As a herding breed, we recommend gradual introductions to children and other pets to help her settle in.

Bea is currently in a foster home in South Carolina. Transport is available to many states for an additional $125. A health certificate is an additional $50.
