ALFIE aka HAMMY

Alfie, also known as Hammy, is a sweet 4-year-old, 10 lb terrier mix. He healed wonderfully from a broken pelvis and, while he still favors one of his back legs a bit, he's a happy go lucky boy. Alfie loves to cuddle and would likely be happiest in a home with at least one other small dog to snuggle with. He's a "food pirate" – not aggressive, but he does need supervision to make sure he doesn't nab his buddies' meals! He can sometimes seem a little sad, as if he's missing someone, but he's a very active young dog who enjoys life.

Ideal Home

Alfie would thrive in a home with at least one other small dog. He also requires a secure yard due to his active nature.

Ongoing Health

Alfie has healed from a broken pelvis but still favors one of his rear legs.

Training & Support

Alfie is still working on his leash skills and can become vocal when encountering unfamiliar men or dogs on walks. He is also nervous in new environments and may occasionally have accidents, though he's generally good with his potty routine.
