Benny

Benny is an 8-month-old, 26-pound cattle dog mix who is learning what it's like to be safe, loved, and part of a family. He is incredibly smart, food motivated, and forms deep bonds with those he trusts. Because of his difficult start in life, he can be a little reserved with new people, but with patience and gentle introductions, his confidence continues to grow every day. Benny is happiest when he's learning, solving food puzzles, enjoying a walk, or snuggling with his favorite people.

Ideal Home

Benny's ideal home is a quieter one with a predictable routine, older children or adults, and someone willing to continue building on the amazing progress he's already made. He could be happy as an only dog or with a calm, playful canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Benny is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and 4DX negative.

Training & Support

Benny is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He loves car rides and is lower-energy than many cattle dog puppies.
