Meet Ruger – The Sweet and Energetic German Shepherd Mix! Ruger is a sweet, energetic, and affectionate 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who is just waiting to be loved. He was saved from a kill shelter on the day he was set to be euthanized, and now he’s looking for a family to share his love with. Ruger is ready to find a home where he can be the loyal companion he’s meant to be! He is a fully trained, crate-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained boy who is a big lovebug that craves affection and will shower you with all the love you can handle. He’ll need some help with leash pulling, but with patience, he’ll be a wonderful walking companion.

Ideal Home

An active family who can provide him with exercise and attention, a fenced yard where he can run and play, and a family willing to work with him on training, particularly leash manners.

Ongoing Health

Ruger is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has no special medical needs.

Training & Support

Ruger is fully trained, but he’ll need some help with leash pulling, but with patience, he’ll be a wonderful walking companion.
