Brody

Brody is a big, sweet couch potato of a dog! He's estimated to be 3 to 4 years old and was rescued from a life living on a chain. Despite his past, Brody's spirit remains incredibly bright, and he sports a charming "smile" that seems to say, 'hey, I'm a friendly guy - will you take me home?' He's a sweet and independent boy whose favorite thing in the world is to be near you and get attention! Brody is friendly with everyone he meets, loves to follow you from room to room, and is happiest just being close. He also enjoys going on walks and taking in all the outdoor scents!

Ideal Home

Brody has a very solid temperament and should be good around children. He's lived with a 10-year-old before and, at 85 pounds, he's a gentle giant. While Brody hasn't had direct interaction with other dogs in his foster home, he's shown to be quite neutral when meeting other dogs at the kennel and on walks.

Training & Support

Brody is doing very well in his foster home and is fine in a crate. He is not fully potty trained but hasn't had accidents when in his crate, indicating he is crate trained. He rides well in the car and is working on his basic obedience and leash manners with his trainer. Brody is very food-motivated, which will be a great asset in his training.
