Zippy

Zippy is a six-year-old, 14-pound white and black Chihuahua mix who proves that sometimes the quietest dogs make the very best companions. When county staff recommended Zippy, they described him as a shy dog who would benefit from a calmer environment. Since arriving, Zippy has been an absolute delight. He walks nicely on a leash, is comfortable being carried, and approaches life with a calm, easy-going attitude. Zippy is one of those rare dogs who seems to make everything simple. He asks for very little: a soft bed, a few tasty treats, and a person to love. His mild energy level makes him an excellent choice for someone looking for a relaxed companion.

Zippy seems selective with his canine friends, so a meet and greet with your current pups will help us determine whether it's a perfect match!

Ongoing Health

Zippy's adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He will also receive a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Training & Support

Zippy is not yet house-trained.
