She’s quiet in nature and incredibly gentle, though she does take some time to warm up to new people. Once she trusts you, you'll have a loyal best friend. Sandy shows her affection subtly, by leaning in or taking a tiny step closer. She’s full of love and ready to share it!

Ideal Home

Sandy needs a home with at least one other dog, as their companionship helps build her confidence. She'll do best in a patient environment where she's given time to adjust to new surroundings. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her safety and exploration. She also needs a home with older, respectful children who understand her need for space.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip. She receives monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She walks beautifully on a leash, remaining non-reactive to distractions, and enjoys short car rides. She's adaptable with other animals, including cats and fosters of all ages. While not treat-motivated, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese! She is very quiet and rarely barks.
