Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is a sweet, approximately 8-month-old, 35 lb sweetheart who looks like a cuddly panda bear! Her adorably floppy ears and gentle expression are sure to steal your heart. Poppy is affectionate, easygoing, and incredibly gentle, making her a wonderful potential family dog. She's already doing wonderfully with children aged 3-16 in her foster home and is also friendly with other dogs, enjoying respectful play and companionship. While she can be a little shy initially in new situations, her loving and affectionate personality quickly shines through once she feels comfortable. Poppy is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash, with a solid foundation for continued learning.

A home with a backyard where Poppy Lou can continue to explore, play, and grow at her own pace would be ideal for this sweet girl.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She also comes with a microchip with free lifetime registration and a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.

Training & Support

Poppy Lou is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on leash. She is treat motivated and knows how to sit, taking treats very gently. Continued practice as she gains confidence will be beneficial.

Transporation

Poppy Lou is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. An $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
