Meet Daquiri, a sweet 4 ½-year-old boy who is a true cuddle bug and happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be a social butterfly, but after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence has been shaken, and he’s feeling shy and unsure around other pups. He’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was; he just needs someone to believe in him.

Ongoing Health
Daquiri's adoption fee includes all vetting, which covers DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Daquiri is shy and unsure around other dogs due to a past negative experience. He will need continued training efforts and understanding from his new family to help him build his confidence. Our team works on leash training and basic commands with our dogs, and Daquiri is well on his way to being the best dog he can be with continued support.

Transportation
Daquiri is currently in Angleton, TX. He is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is available via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated drivers and attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. Your adoption coordinator will help you find the closest transport pickup location.
