Meet Finn, a sweet and incredibly resilient boy who has blossomed from a shy and fearful pup into a playful and loving companion. His journey of trust has been remarkable, and he now eagerly seeks belly rubs and gentle pets from his trusted humans. Finn is proving that with patience and understanding, even the most timid souls can learn to open up and show their true, wonderful personalities. He's even making new friends and bravely venturing out on short walks, celebrating every small victory along the way.

Ideal Home

Finn would thrive in a calm and predictable home with patient people who can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. A friendly, playful resident dog would be a wonderful role model for him, helping him continue to grow in confidence. He's not the dog for someone expecting immediate affection from strangers, but rather for someone who cherishes watching a shy dog blossom into a loyal and loving friend.

Ongoing Health

Finn is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is progressing wonderfully. His foster family is very encouraged by his steady progress and believes he is ready to find his forever home.

Training & Support

Finn is house-trained and crate-trained, happily going into his "house" on cue. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would benefit from a confident canine friend. While new sounds and movements can still make him nervous, he's learning to manage his anxieties and will continue to need gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement to build his confidence.
