She would love to be adopted with her brother, Meka, though it's not required. Kalena's adoption fee covers all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Kalena is described as a "Little Hero" who has received behavior and medical care to prepare her for adoption. She has been socialized through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and work has been done on leash training and basic commands. It is understood that rescue dogs require continued training efforts and understanding.

Kalena is currently located in Angleton, Texas. She is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is provided via air-conditioned buses with dedicated care.
