Bourbon

Bourbon is a handsome boy who, like a fine bourbon, may be a little reserved at first, but with time and patience, his warm and sweet personality truly begins to shine. He is still learning to trust the world around him and can be nervous in new situations. Bourbon finds comfort in the company of other dogs and enjoys following their lead. Having a confident canine companion in his forever home would be wonderful for him to continue building confidence and feeling secure. Bourbon was born in May 2024.

Ideal Home

Bourbon is considered a flight risk and will need a home committed to careful introductions, secure fencing, and extra precautions to help keep him safe while he continues gaining confidence. A home with a confident canine companion would be ideal to help him feel more secure.

Ongoing Health

Bourbon is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He has had a health exam and a fecal analysis.

Training & Support

Bourbon will need continued patience, understanding, and guidance while adjusting to life as a loved family member due to his past experiences.

• The fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, and a health exam with a certificate issued by a veterinarian.
• Our adoption interviews and meet-and-greets occur on video call.

Bourbon is being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport to a predetermined location.
