Melanie

Melanie is a sweet girl, born on 4-28-23, and likely a Rottie/Lab mix. She's full of happy wiggles and absolutely adores attention! Melanie is good with kids and other dogs, and she's already potty-trained in her foster home. She also settles well and is comfortable in her crate. Melanie will make a wonderfully loyal companion and will fill your life with love!

Ideal Home

Melanie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely zoomie around. She's an energetic pup who would do best with a human running partner or a family who can match her playfulness.

Ongoing Health

Melanie is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. Her adoption fee covers all vetting, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical care required while in rescue.

Training & Support

Melanie is food-motivated and a quick learner, but she will need some basic obedience training to help manage her enthusiasm. While she's potty trained in her foster home, it's common for dogs to need a refresher in a new environment.

• If the animal is under 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required. This means you must currently own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
• The adoption fee is $315.

Transportation

Melanie is located within a 2-hour radius of the Tricounty area. We only adopt locally, though exceptions may be made for senior or hard-to-place dogs. Adoptions are held on Saturdays at varying event locations; please check our homepage for this week's location.
