Hello, my name is Frodo, or Fitzgerald! I’m a one-year-old, happy, and energetic pup, listed as a Great Dane Mix. I'm generally friendly with everyone and love to eat, which makes training a blast! I'm also kennel-trained. I'm looking for a home that can include me in their daily activities and lifestyle. Since I'm young and full of energy, a fenced yard or opportunities for adventures like hiking and day trips would be perfect for me. I thrive on consistent leadership and can sometimes get a little overstimulated, so I need a home that can help me refocus. I would do best in a home without very young children, as I'm still a bit clumsy and their energy can be confusing. However, older children who are eager to help train me would be a great exception! Consistency from everyone in the household will be key to helping me learn the ropes and settle in smoothly. My foster mom runs an in-home boarding service, so I spend my days meeting new dogs and people, and I'm quite well-socialized. I enjoy meeting new friends in open spaces and am good at reading dog social cues, especially from older dogs. I’m always learning new ways to play with different breeds and sizes! I can't wait to meet my forever family!

Ongoing Health
All adoption fees include a full veterinary exam, spay/neuter surgery, a prepaid microchip, deworming, age-appropriate rabies and distemper/combo vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, 4DX testing (if over 6 months), and flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
Training & Support
I'm kennel-trained and a great eater, making me eager to learn new tricks. I do need consistent leadership and help to refocus when overstimulated. Consistency from everyone in the household will help me learn the rules and settle in successfully.
