This handsome guy is Jake.
Jake is a charming young Mountain Cur/Plott Hound mix who was born around 9/02/24. He's a medium sized boy, weighing in at about 52 pounds with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging, who deserves to find his forever family. He was found by a good samaritan, homeless, abandoned and left to fend for himself. But The Artemis Project took him in and are committed to find him the home he so deserves. He is now waiting for his new family to come and pick him up.

This loving boy currently lives outside-not because he wants to, but because it's the only option right now. Despite that, Jake is full of hope and dreaming of the day he has a family to call his own. He's ready for belly rubs, bedtime snuggles, and a life filled with love and laughter indoors where he belongs.
