Milo

Milo is a sweet, friendly 12-year-old boy who came to us when his owner's health declined. Sadly, Milo has also been dealing with some health issues himself. He's been suffering from painful, itchy skin infections all over his body, as well as ear infections and chronic dry eye that have gone untreated for a while. He's received a full work-up from our vet and is now on a regimen of medications, medicated baths, and long-term eye drops. Milo will need a dedicated person to stay on top of his treatments to ensure he remains comfortable and happy. He appears to be a Shih Tzu/Peke mix and is currently a bit overweight at 24lbs. While he's not a fan of being picked up, he's a social and nice guy otherwise. He's good with other gentle dogs and is already showing improvement and more happiness since starting his treatment.

Ideal Home

Milo would do best in a home that can commit to his ongoing medical treatments.
