Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is as sweet as she is playful! Nona is blossoming into her personality, showing off her confidence and joy for life. She's a sturdy little lady with a tank-like build and a hilarious hop onto the couch. Don't let her short legs fool you, she's a speedy zoomer who loves to chase her toys and greet her people with an enthusiastic leap. Nona is a loving companion who enjoys being near her people, wiggling her whole body with excitement. She's a social butterfly, meeting new friends and dogs with enthusiasm. Nona is also quite clever and loves to solve puzzles, and her stubborn streak only adds to her charm. She's a quick learner, motivated by toys and treats, and has already mastered "sit." Nona enjoys adventures and walks, and while car rides aren't her favorite, she's a delight once she arrives. She's fully crate and potty trained, and while a little shy, she'll alert you to anything unfamiliar. Nona's adorable underbite makes her goofy expressions even more endearing. She's dog-friendly and enjoys playing with her foster siblings, but would do best with a canine companion who respects personal space. While she hasn't been around cats or small children in a home environment, her calm nature suggests she'd do well with respectful, well-mannered kids. Nona is expected to grow into a sturdy medium-to-large sized dog and is ready to bring laughter and love into your home!

Training & Support

Nona is fully crate trained and doing great with her potty training. She is working on her leash manners. She can be a shy watchdog and will sound the alarm if she hears or sees something unfamiliar.

Transporation

Nona is currently located in Austin, TX. She can transport out of state when matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
