Bear is a 6-year-old shorty looking for his forever home! This boy is approximately 18 lbs and is the sweetest guy. Because of how short he is, we do believe he is some sort of Bassett mix! He loves other dogs and gets along wonderfully with small or big dogs alike. Bear has also met kitties and gets along great with them! The sanctuary where he is currently fostered has inside cats that all dogs get along with. Kids? No problem. Bear just asks they love him a lot, as he has a lot of love to give.
A fun quirk about Bear: He always has to have a blanket. He has an attachment to his blankets, no matter how hot it is. He covers himself with it, then will uncover himself, go run and play, eat his food, and go right back under his blanket. He is obsessed with a blanket and it's absolutely adorable. He will drag it everywhere he can! Bear is house and crate trained. This boy is quirky, fun, playful, gentle, and all-around loving. If you have blankets, that's even more of a plus!
