SHERMAN

Sherman is a charming little guy whose personality really shines once he knows he's safe. While new situations can make him a bit cautious at first, a little patience goes a long way with Sherman. The moment he starts to feel comfortable, the worried expression melts away and out comes the wiggly, affectionate dog underneath. Staff quickly discovered that treats, kindness, and a gentle approach were all it took to win him over, and before long he was happily accepting affection, trotting along with people, and showing off his sweet nature.

Sherman enjoys getting out and exploring the world at his own pace. He walks nicely on leash, is eager for adventures, and has been described as a dog who benefits from thoughtful introductions and a little time to settle in. Once he forms a bond, he becomes a loyal and engaging companion who wants to be part of your day. Sherman is looking for someone who understands that trust is built one kind interaction at a time, and the reward is a devoted friend whose happy wiggles feel like a victory every single time.
