Meet Gina!

Gina's journey began near the dump in Punta Mita, where she and another dog were tragically abandoned and found in poor condition. Thankfully, a compassionate individual stepped in to provide care until we could safely bring them into our program on April 15th. Gina arrived underweight and anemic, bravely fighting ehrlichia. Today, those challenges are in her past! She is now healthy, stable, and revealing the sweet, gentle, and loving spirit that shines within her. Gina is calm, enjoys moderate activity, and is a breeze to have around. She's wonderful with people and has shown to be great with other dogs, but she's equally happy as the sole canine companion in her home. Gina is dreaming of a cozy home and a family who will cherish her as she deserves.

Ideal Home

Gina would love a family who can give her the love and stability she's always deserved. She's happy with or without another dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Gina has fully recovered from ehrlichia and is now healthy and stable.

Training & Support

Gina is described as easy to live with and has medium energy. She is already showing her sweet and gentle nature.

Transporation

Gina is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Transportation can be arranged via flight companions to approved adopters. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers have successfully assisted with border transport for many adoptions.
