This sweet boy is family-friendly and has a special way of leaning in for affection, quietly asking for love and connection. He does best with another young, medium to large dog in the home who is close in age and has a medium energy activity level that he can romp and wrestle with. Rufus may be able to live with calm, dog-savvy cats, as he has made friends with the neighborhood cat in his foster's yard. Rufus is still skittish of many things, including narrow spaces, loud noises, and crowded places, so living in a non-urban environment may be a best match for him.
