Pinky, Loving puppy, Friendly, & Affectionate

Pinky is a sweet, loving 8-month-old Shepherd mix weighing 35 pounds. She was rescued from a high-intake shelter in Houston, and is now looking for an active family to call her own. Pinky was originally adopted to be a companion for her foster's mother, but it became clear that she has too much energy and is still learning her leash manners. This friendly girl loves people, enjoys getting attention from her favorite humans, and is always excited to head out for a walk or a new adventure. She also gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion to help burn off some puppy energy. Pinky is house and crate trained. She sits by the door to let you know she needs to go outside. She is smart and knows "sit!" If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion to join you on hikes, neighborhood walks, road trips, or backyard playtime, Pinky may be the perfect match!
