Meet Veda! A perfectly playful puppy whose entire approach to life is basically: "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" Mud puddle? Amazing. New dog friend? Incredible. Couch cuddles afterward? Best day ever. This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears. One ear stands straight up, while the other flops dramatically, and their oversized charm makes her even cuter. Combined with her soft puppy face and warm brown eyes, she looks like a cartoon character brought to life.
Veda is the kind of puppy who makes everything feel exciting. She doesn't just walk through life; she launches herself into it with joy! During her assessment, she discovered a flooded muddy yard and immediately decided it was the greatest place on earth, zooming through puddles and inviting all the dogs to join her muddy water party. She turned herself from a white puppy into a brown puppy and couldn't have been prouder.
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely love an adventurous home. Hiking trails, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler time, and long walks exploring new places are all her jam. She's curious, playful, outgoing, and genuinely thrilled to be included. She could do well in an apartment with an active family but would absolutely thrive in a home where she gets to explore, play, and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there's water nearby! While she met a child briefly and was super sweet, we recommend older or dog-savvy kiddos while she continues learning manners, as she's a playful puppy who jumps when excited.
Ongoing Health
Veda is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, is microchipped, and will be spayed. She is also up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Veda is very treat-motivated, which will make training a rewarding experience. She excels in a foster home with trainers on staff who have worked on crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transportation
Veda is currently in Texas. Transport is available nationwide for an additional surcharge of $87. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
