Ideal Home
Sammy needs a very specific environment to thrive due to his small size and fragile nature. He would do best in an adults-only home or one with older children (12 and up) to ensure his safety. An experienced Chihuahua owner who understands the needs of tiny, senior pups, can handle fragile joints with care, and is committed to managing his special diet is ideal. A quiet, calm, and cozy space where he can feel secure and predictable surroundings will allow him to truly shine.
Ongoing Health
Sammy requires a high-fiber diet to keep his sensitive stomach happy and healthy. He has some wobbly knees that contribute to his unique walk, but it doesn't hinder his mobility. Sammy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently had a dental cleaning with extractions. He has been given flea/tick preventative, tested heartworm negative, and is on heartworm prevention.
