Peony is a 5-year-old, 45lb staffie mix who radiates sunshine! This happy, wiggliest, and most hilarious girl has never had a bad day and will bring endless silliness and love to her forever family. Peony is a true social butterfly who loves people, kids, dogs, and cats. She is gentle and loving with toddlers and has a playful spirit that can adjust to dogs of all sizes. She’s even been fostered with cats and showed no interest in them, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household! Peony thrives on routine and structure. With consistent guidance, including work on impulse control, crate training, and proper exercise, she is a dream boat.

She will need an adopter dedicated to providing consistent guidance inside and outside the home, including place work for impulse control and settling, and crate training. Without enough to do, Peony can get overstimulated, so an active home that can provide her with mental and physical stimulation will be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Peony is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. She will be ready to go to her forever home in mid-August.
Training & Support
Peony is still working on loose-leash walking due to her excitement for life. Her adopter should be committed to continuing her training with consistency. She has a good foundation and with continued support, she will surely master it.
