RORY

MEET RORY….and he is raring to go! This 1.5-year-old, gold and white, 11 lb pupster has to be the sweetest dog we have ever had! He doesn’t shed, and while his breed mix has us stumped, we know he's awesome. Rory came to us from the Moreno Valley Shelter, initially scared and withdrawn, but he has blossomed into a dog who loves to meet everyone on the street, dogs and people alike! He can be a bit shy during introductions, and he does have a habit of jumping up when excited on walks.

Rory loves his walks, belly rubs, and lounging in high places! He can be a bit mischievous and may explore your belongings, so it's wise to keep tempting items out of reach. He is quiet and enjoys the company of other dogs, but he is primarily people-oriented and thrives on attention and affection. He's learning the ropes with potty training and is not a marking dog, though consistency will be key in his new home.

Ideal Home

Rory would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods. We are unsure of his tolerance for cats, but he is very submissive and may do well with them.

Ongoing Health

Rory is a bit underweight, and we are working on helping him reach a healthy weight.

Training & Support

Rory sometimes jumps up on people during walks and can be shy during introductions. Help him succeed by redirecting his excitement and offering gentle introductions. Keep valuable items secured as he is prone to getting into "stuff."
