Meet Daisy, a 75-pound English Shepherd mix who's basically part lifeguard, part personal trainer, and 100% sweetheart. This gorgeous girl is 3-4 years old and living proof that a little sass makes life more fun. If you’ve got a pond, creek, or pool, prepare for Daisy to claim it as her personal spa—rain, shine, or the middle of winter. Seriously, this girl’s idea of a perfect day involves splashing around and then flopping dramatically on the shallow step of the pool for maximum relaxation.
Daisy is the perfect balance of playful and polite. Outside? Total zoomie queen. She sprints joyful circles like she’s been possessed by the spirit of a racehorse—except fluffier. But don’t be fooled by her bursts of energy! Once the play is over, she’s all about that calm life. She’s the master of “reading the room,” shifting gears from wild to chill the moment you head inside or kick back on the patio.
Ideal Home
Daisy would love a canine buddy who doesn’t mind a little friendly bossing around. She’s got a touch of queen bee energy, but it’s all in good fun. If her four-legged pals are up for it, she’ll play for hours, romping around the yard like the happiest pup on earth until it’s time for belly rubs and snacks. Daisy needs space. A big yard. A place where she can run, romp, and channel her inner athlete. We will not be considering apartment applicants for her—this queen deserves her kingdom! As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
Ongoing Health
Daisy was rescued from a breeder alongside 16 other shepherds in overcrowded Texas. She’s come a long way, and now she’s looking for a forever home.
Training & Support
Crate trained? Check. Potty trained? Obviously. Leash pro? You bet. Doggy door genius? Mastered. She even remembers her manners—though she gets a little excited when saying hello, she quickly remembers her training, sits politely, and then dramatically flops for belly rubs. Shepherd experience would be ideal—Daisy’s confident, loving, and thrives when her people understand her drive and intelligence.
