Bernie

Bernie is a handsome, loveable, and wiggly boy who is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 18 pounds. He was brought to rescue because he is truly something special! Bernie is super friendly, adorable, and has lots of energy, and he is excited to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Bernie needs a quiet, low-key foster home where he can calmly recover and heal. He would thrive in a home where any children are respectful, calm, and at least 8 years old. He also needs a committed foster who can help keep him relaxed during his treatment.

Ongoing Health

Bernie is heartworm positive and will be starting his treatment soon.

Training & Support

Bernie has lots of energy and will need a foster who can help him stay relaxed during his recovery.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying.
• We do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats.
• Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.
